2. Scope

This statement applies to the following consumer-facing digital services of Qwist GmbH:

  • Qwist WidgetUI – end-user interface for selecting the bank, connecting the account, and performing strong customer authentication (account information and payment services).
  • Qwist SwitchKitUI – end-user interfaces for account, deposit, and portfolio switching.

These services are embedded into our customers’ applications. The provider and party responsible for these services is Qwist GmbH.

3. Legal basis

The applicable rules are the German Accessibility Reinforcement Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) and its implementing regulation (BFSGV). They transpose Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) into German law. Accessibility is measured against the harmonised standard EN 301 549 (V3.2.1), which incorporates the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA.

4. Description of the service

WidgetUI: End users select their bank, connect their account by entering their online banking credentials, and perform strong customer authentication (for example, via TAN).

SwitchKitUI: End users are directed from our customer’s offering to an interface and complete the switching process. This includes selecting and connecting the previous account, entering personal data, and an overview for managing the switch.

5. Status of accessibility

The services listed in section 2 meet the accessibility requirements of the BFSG and the BFSGV in accordance with EN 301 549 (WCAG 2.1, level AA). Compliance is ensured through regular testing. We continuously take into account changes in how the service is provided, in the applicable requirements, and in the relevant standards.

6. Consumer information

The pre-contractual consumer information pursuant to Article 246 of the Introductory Act to the German Civil Code (EGBGB) is provided as part of the respective service and in the general terms and conditions.
